About the role

As a Gymnastics Coach at Active Gym, you'll play an important role in helping children develop confidence, learn new skills and build a lifelong love of gymnastics.

You'll deliver fun, engaging and safe sessions for recreational gymnasts aged 18 months to 13 years, creating an environment where every child feels welcomed, supported and encouraged to achieve their potential.

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children grow. Whether you're an experienced coach or looking to start your coaching career, we'll provide the support and development you need to become an exceptional coach.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver fun, engaging and safe gymnastics sessions.

• Support children of all abilities to develop confidence, resilience and gymnastics skills.

• Adapt activities to suit different ages and ability levels.

• Create a positive and welcoming environment where every child feels included.

• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.

• Maintain a safe coaching environment by following club policies and procedures.

• Attend staff training and personal development opportunities.

• Support club events and holiday programmes where required.

Essential

Desirable

• Experience working with children

• Gymnastics coaching experience

• First Aid qualification

• Safeguarding qualification
